If you\u2019re wondering what you should avoid after your surgery, continue reading. The longevity of your dental implant largely depends on your care in the first few days and weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

1. Eating Hard or Sticky Foods<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re a chronic ice-cruncher or taffy-snacker, you\u2019ll be disappointed right away. These types of foods will irritate the implant site and possibly cause damage to the tissue or the implant itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avoid foods that can cling to your teeth, like candy, and foods that could accidentally cause you to bite something hard, like chicken wings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Smoking or Consuming Alcohol<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
